"Fat Ass events are an ultrarunning tradition that dates back to 1978. The concept of low-key, no frills, low or no cost events has struck a chord with experienced, self-sufficient runners and the name Fat Ass has stuck for this type of event and numerous Fat Ass events have sprung up around the world.
This is the blueprint for the Fat Ass 70.3. There will be an official start time, with two loops per element all originating and ending at Roblin Lake. This will allow for you to have hydration and nutrition stations set up for yourself in a central location. There will not be any additional aid on the course.
This will be timed event including split times for each element.
All participants MUST be pre-registered, there will be no race day registration.
